Lovers Point in Monterey.
In light of recent events (i.e. Japan, Thailand) I think these are valid instructions. And to think I laughed at this sign. Pre- Japan disaster.
Am I having a fit? Am I cold? Did I want a nap? What is the meaning of this?

New Years in Monterey 2011

Yay! Aimee made a sunrise!!
Good Morning Monterey. We got here WELL before sunrise and watched the sun come up. This is "Lovers Point".
Breakfasts at the pier. I think we found a locals spot becuase the other patrons were fisherman and didn't seem to happy to see us squeeze in. But the food was good that waitress was nice. I'd go back.
Can you say "cavity". We got to the counter and had about $30 in candy. I was like "Um, NO. We are not spending $30 on candy!" So we walked out with $18 in candy. REDICULOUS!!

We saw seals lions
They saw us. This guy was quite handsome.

The food in this town was so good. And so was the beer!

New Years Eve at the Ghirardelli shop. Laurette and I splitting a Sunday. Yea, two wild and crazy gals. Is that a good Sunday Laurette? :)

So, its 10:30pm and we are already at the hotel. After this interlude we sat in the spa and then everyone crashed. I remember waking at midnight to noise and feeling annoyed until I realized it was New Years. Then I felt old and went back to sleep.
